Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation

Dear Fellow Club Members:

Hope you all are having a pleasant summer, wherever that might be. While “things” are much slower in the summer, we, at the VYCCF are still involved in grant reviews and the necessary admin work that goes hand in hand with any foundation.

As of August we will have given more than $130,000 in grants to the many diverse groups we support. In June, July & August we issued (and will issue) checks to Venice Area Mobile Meals (Pamela Phildius Ambassador), Loveland (Karla Olson Ambassador), and Big Brothers and Big Sisters (Bob Scholten Ambassador), among others.

Mark your calendars now for October 10—when we will host a tribute to Jimmy Buffet to help raise monies for the worthwhile groups we support! So let any of your Parrothead friends know—tickets will go fast!!
