Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation

Greetings VYC members!
It is hard to believe that the VYCCF is halfway through our fiscal year! Thank you all for your generosity. VYC members, friends, and family are making 2023 a very successful year so far!

We have a giving budget of $130,000 for 2023, and will be making grants to a total of 24 charities throughout the summer months, into October. So far, we have donated $52,000 to eleven organizations, including Family Haven, Special Ops Warrior Foundation, VYBA, Family Promise and Twig.

Our annual Jazz Under the Stars event was a big Success, with a sell-out crowd in attendance to listen to the great sounds of the Venice High School Jazz Band! A very special musical evening.

Things will quiet down in the summer months, but your VYCCF volunteers will be working hard, staying in touch with their respective nonprofit organizations, and delivering the funds they need to help many individuals and families in the community.

We have one other event planned this year, on Thursday October 12. It will be another musical night, but at this moment in time, we are still working on the theme!
