Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation

Dear Venice Yacht Club members,

The mission of the Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation, Inc., is to mobilize the collective goodwill of our community to improve the lives of our neighbors, including those who are most vulnerable. During 2022 we reached many milestones, including becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, and surpassing the $1,000,000 mark in grant donation since our inception in 2010.

As we head into another exciting year of “charting a course for a better community,” we are always most grateful for the generosity and ongoing support of our Venice Yacht Club members, family, and friends.

Everything we achieve is because of you!
On Sunday, February 19, we will be holding our signature fundraising event, the Annual Ride for a Better Community. This will be the 6th year for this successful bike ride. Co-ride directors Dave Slaman and Steve Bieglecki put in a huge amount of work to make this community wide event safe and lots of fun! The ride has a Venice PD escort and this year our Honorary Ride Leader will be Mayor Nick Pachota. The Junior Marine Corp ROTC from Venice High School will be volunteering as monitors, along with many Club members and supporters. This is an all-hands-on deck affair! After the ride, participants and their families will enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast! So please come and join in the fun, either as a rider or as a supporter.
