Greetings from the VYCCF!

I am hopeful that by the time you sit down to read your June Currents, you may do it wherever you choose! Much time has been given us to reflect on all the blessings in our lives. I hope everyone of you and yours are safe and healthy! Last month I reported on five charities to which we gave grants. Since that time, we have responded to the needs of some others, including SPARCC and Children First. I am thrilled to tell you that our grants to All Faiths Food Bank, SKY Family YMCA, and Children First, were each doubled to $10,000 through matching donor funds with whom the organizations are associated. We love this kind of impact!

BULLETIN! Jazz Under the Stars has now been rescheduled for Thursday, June 18. This event will replace the Comedy Club. Sponsors and entertainment have been secured. The evening will highlight Synia Carroll. We are hopeful that the Covid-19 Club closure will be lifted in time for this event to take place. This has always been a popular event. We hope it will serve as a catalyst to bring our committed members back to the Club for this premier entertainment and safe social gathering place with much space outdoors. Call for reservations now!
