Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation

The Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation Committee approved a grant request from the Venice Performing Arts Center in the amount of $18,157.00 for improvements to the outside and inside box offices. The grant is being made from the special funds raised at the Venice Performing Arts Center Gala held last October at the Club. Our Committee made a site visit to the Venice Performing Arts Center in April and reviewed the concept of the box office improvements. These are needed improvements and the Center management’s highest priority to facilitate better usage of the facility next winter and in future years. The VYCCF will receive recognition by a plaque on the outside of the building above the outside box office and a plaque on the inside of the building above the interior box office.

Our Committee approved having a fundraiser dinner event with a Halloween theme on Friday, October 30. We will have more information in the next Currents article.
