The Foundation Committee finalized the fall 2013 grants, donating over $39,000 to local area charities, as shown below. Total grants to our community were over $72,000 this year and over $129, 000 in just three years. As I wrote last month, you are part of making a difference in our community and we offer heartfelt thanks for your support.

Forty Carrots: $750 Literacy Materials
Good Samaritan Pharmacy & Health Service: $1,700 Exam Room Renovations and Supplies
Interfaith Outreach: $500 Produce for Weekly Meals
Neuro Challenge Foundation: $600 iPad for Record Keeping
Operation Military Assistance Program of JFCS: $2,000 Program Support
Sarasota Scullers Youth Rowing: $1,000 Scholarship for In Need Students in
the Youth Rowing Program
Venice Area Pregnancy Care Ctr.: $1,000 Bassinet, Cribs and Mattresses
Venice Dental Clinic of Senior Friendship Centers: $1,000 Support for Free Dental Services
Safe Place And Rape Crisis Ctr.: $500 Support part-time Child Advocate
Englewood Community Care Clinic: $800 Medical Equipment and Supplies
South County YMCA: $1,500 Hometown Partner to Support Youth Programs
