We are honored and humbled to be asked to Co-Chair the Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation.

Our praise and admiration is extended to the past Chairman, Tony Zumbano. With his outstanding leadership the VYC Foundation showed growth and vitality. Be assured we will make every effort to build on his accomplishments and that of the committee members: Merle Graser, Matt DePalma, Michael Nemser, DuPont Snowden and Jerry Jarrett who devoted their time and talent to its success.

A special note of praise must be given to the members of Our Founders Club program which ended on 12/31/11. Many, many thanks to Max Eisenbarth, Betty Castigliano Scott, John and Bonnie Sammet, Kelly and Cheri Ireland, Hubert and Elaine Ocamb and Tony and Kathy Zumbano for their generosity!

2012 will be a year to review the mission, goals and processes of the VYC Foundation. Educating all members as to the role and place of the VYC Foundation within the family fabric of the Venice Yacht Club as a whole, will be our beginning. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions.
