…but we are not finished yet.
We are very thankful for our VYC members who generously donated to the VYCCF. Their donations allowed us to commit to be the sole sponsor for the All Faiths Food Bank lunch bus called Eat This Bus. The bus will help feed our community children who do not receive school food assistance in the summer. But our work is not done. We still need more donations to complete our grant for the purchase of the bus and its conversion.

The power of numbers is awesome. By accumulating donations from our members, we are able to make a big difference in our community with major grants supporting our Signature Project, FEED THE HUNGER - FEED THE MIND, and smaller grants to many other local charitable organizations.

As individuals, working alone, we cannot be as impactful. Together, we can do big things. But less than 20% of our VYC members donate to the VYCCF. Think of the difference the VYC can make in our community if we double or triple this participation rate. It only takes $100.00 to become a member of the VYCCF Captain’s Circle. $100.00 donations will quickly add up to allow us to do great things, such as feeding at-risk children, improving childhood literacy, helping veterans and active military, and so much more. We are halfway to our $100,000 goal for 2016. Please consider a donation to make a difference. Donation forms are at the front desk. Our annual event is on October 15. Please save the date for a fun evening of excellent music by Nothing But Trouble, wonderful food by Chef Josh and a fun auction called by Commodore Jim DeNiro.
